#1 The Meeting was called to order
#2 Minutes from the August meeting were unanimously approved
#3 The August treasurers report was given (attached) it was unanimously approved
#4 The membership report was given (attached)
#5 Julie gave a report on our IRS Status - there was no new news from the IRS
#6 The electricity has been extended to the rifle ranges, the total bill for this is $7445.86
#7 Julie received an estimate to tie into the existing water service to the South. This was in excess of $29,000. We have an estimate for a new well from McGill pump and drill for $10,165. The subject of new water was tabled until we get more bids.
#8 The bids for paving were reviewed. The board unanimously accepted the bid from Williams paving for $40,968.52. This includes the completion of all paving projects, parking for skeet fields, the road past the rifle ranges including parking area and a turn around loop and parking at the pistol ranges.
#9 Per Randy Brownlee the phone line is attached and the credit card machine will be here next week. The total phone bill will be $90.00 per month.
#10 Donald Stokes, who had previously done our berm work has retired. Tom has talked to his brother to get estimates for dirt work.
#11 The Gulfport police department has three new badges.
#12 Range two will be named after Ralph Munghia. This was unanimously approved by the board.
#13 The conex box adjacent to the clubhouse will be rearranged so that skeet birds can be moved in. This was unanimously approved by the board.
#14 The need for noise abatement between ranges #2 and #3 were discussed.
#15 Prices are needed to repaint and seal the skeet houses.
#16 Prices are needed to repaint clubhouse and its new awning and the bathrooms
#17 There will be an Appleseed shoot November 5-6 on range 5.
#18 There will be a registered skeet shoot December 3-4.
#19 Joe is to order a weatherproof message board for the front gate. The price is not to exceed $500.00. This was unanimously approved.
#20 The meeting was adjourned.
