Minutes for August, 2010 meeting of the board of directors of the Coast Rifle and Pistol Club

Present were

Directors John Stubbendick and Ken Hablitzel

And seven other members

1. Paula gave a treasurer’s report. The general account has $63,448.17; there is a reserve of $50,000 and a money market balance of $9,813.76 and a skeet shoot balance of 652.00. Total funds equal $123,913.93

2. Joe Newman gave a membership report. There are 1067 members of all types.

3. Two secret bids have been received for installing a sidewalk from the skeet field to the restrooms and putting in a concrete pad with cover at the unimproved (South) pistol range. All bids will be received by the next monthly business meeting.

4. Joe reported that a safety deposit box will cost the club $25.00 per year. This is for storing our important documents such as the lease and insurance papers. A vote was taken and we unanimously agreed to get a box.

5. Paula reported a bid of $5,000 per range to landscape the two pistol ranges with reinforced matting. No action was taken.

6. $75 was approved to purchase one pallet of sod in order to test if it would grow on the pistol ranges.

7. It will cost $1,391.00 to weld supports on to the square tables. A booth was authorized

8. $884 was unanimously approved for rim-fire silhouette targets.

9. A booth was authorized at the August 28-29 gun-show at the Coast Coliseum and the September 18-19 gun-show in Lyman

10. John Lewis, member # 137 made a formal request for a bound copy of the Auditors report.
