Annual Fund Raiser

Dear Fellow Club Members,
   Hopefully most of you have heard about our first "Annual Fundraiser"! If not, you have now. We are planning a day of fun, shooting competitions, our gun drawing, a silent auction, food and loads of fun. It is of course open to the public and we encourage you to bring your friends and family.
   The competition shoots are going to be great and involve every aspect of the range. You will be hearing more on this soon. Also please sign up to shoot as we have worked hard to "even the playing field for everyone". There will be an entry fee of course, it's for the club, and there will be CASH awards! Look for sign- up sheets soon.
   Our highlighted portion will be our "Gun Drawing"!! I will attach the list of guns below. We are selling only 1000 tickets at a cost of $100.00 each. The beauty of this drawing is this-if you win a gun your name goes back in the drum and you can be drawn again!! We are asking all members to help sell the tickets. This would be less than 1 ticket per member at present.
   Also we will need help in several areas on the day of the event. O yea!-The date is August 23, 2008. This is the weekend before Labor Day! We will have some lists at the annual meeting on the 31st of this month. Also if any of you can solicit items for our silent auction or door prizes we would greatly appreciate it. To date we have a set of tubes for a shotgun, a charter fishing trip, several framed prints, and a gun cabinet. The club has given 10 memberships that will be drawn during the Gun Drawing. So anything you can do will be a great help. Anyone donating an item will be recognized for their donation.
   Many have asked why we are doing this. It is simple for me-A first class state of the art facility for all aspects of the shooting sport. Also there is an archery range in the works. Paved parking, new restroom facilities, ranges and on and on. It was once said" if you don't think it, it won't be". If you have been to the club lately you can see the progress taking shape. As of now all monies raised with this fundraiser will be used for capital improvements. Our goal for this day is $80,000.00. We can achieve this with a bit of effort.
   So I challenge each of you to get involved and make this a great time! Below is the gun list as well as our basic rules and regulations. Check them out and let us know at the annual club meeting on the 31st how many tickets you want! Tickets are available now and can be picked up from myself and Guy Saenger. We will have them available at annual meeting or you can call us during the day or evening any time, our phone numbers are below.

Rules

1. Winners must meet all Federal requirements to purchase firearms.
2. Need not be present to win.
3. Guns will be given in order they are listed on program, no exceptions.
4. Any disputes settled by the committee for the annual fundraiser and any CRPC officers present.
5. Winners will receive a coupon to pick up their gun from Dad's Super Pawn on 25th Ave Gulfport. This is for registration purposes. No Exceptions.
6. Gun list may have substitutions. These would be done with a gun of equal or greater value. This is due to the availability of guns.
7. Coast Rifle and Pistol Club nor its officers and directors assume no responsibility that may arise from any adverse actions from a person winning one of the prizes offered.
8. A drawn ticket will be returned to the hopper and eligible to win again.
9. Silent auction; Closing for bids will be announced during the drawing. Final high bid will win the item.
10. All shoots on the day of the event will be governed by normal Club rules and regulations.
